Program : 5 day tour departure from Fez to the desert of Merzouga

Day 1: Fez -Ifrane – Azrou -Midelt – Errachidia – Ziz Valley

After breakfast, departure for Midelt via the mountains and cedar forests of the Middle Atlas. Passing through Ifrane, a charming ski resort and Azrou an important handicraft centre specialising in cedar woodwork, after passing through Zad (2178m/7146ft) you arrive in Midelt for lunch. Afterwards, stop at the hot springs and overnight in a guesthouse in the Ziz valley…

Day 2 : Ziz Valley – Erfoud – Merzouga

After breakfast departure for a walk in the valley for 1h30 through the palm grove, we continue to the sand dunes of Erg Chebbi via Arfoud stop in the village … sunset … night in tents in bivouac.

Day 3 : Tour of the Erg Chebbi in 4×4 and walk in the dunes with private bivouac.

Departure in the morning in 4×4 for a beautiful walk towards the nomads who live on the other side of the erg, 2h30 of 4×4 with stops to admire the big dunes, lunch near the nomads … then a departure at 13h with a méharée with camels for 2 hours walk, sunset on the dunes of the erg Chebbi, evening and night in bivouac itinerant privately.

Day 4 : Merzouga – Midelt

Departure in the morning quietly enjoy the dunes, walk, then we take the road with visits to sites of fossils and marble, lunch in the valley to the hot springs, early evening arrival in Midelt for overnight stay and dinner.

Day 5 : Midelt – Fez

Departure in the morning and arrival at your riad around noon.
